In this role, you will report directly to the foreman and play a crucial part in ensuring that all tasks are executed in accordance with safety standards and company protocols. You will adhere to project guidelines and schedules, working diligently to achieve project milestones. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with supervisors and team members to uphold our quality standards.
Your Responsibilities Include:- Utilizing various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment from trucks.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining prefabricated products for both interior and exterior applications.
- Assembling and disassembling scaffolding as required.
- Contributing positively to the company culture and representing Northland Properties professionally.
- Performing additional tasks as needed.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction field.
- Experience in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, or tiling is advantageous.
- Ability to stand or remain active for 10-12 hours per day in various weather conditions.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs, employing proper lifting techniques for heavier loads.
- Comfort with climbing scaffolding as part of job duties.
- Possession of necessary tools, equipment, and safety gear.
- Understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Commitment to meeting project specifications and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Keeping work areas clean and organized.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to complete tasks.
- Exhibiting high motivation, energy, and proactive thinking.
- Listening carefully and following instructions diligently.
