About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at Hometown Furniture Penticton. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that our supply chain runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services, ensuring that all agreements are up-to-date and compliant with company policies.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are in good working condition.
  • Staff Management: Hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff, ensuring that all employees are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Operations Budgeting: Plan and manage the facility's operations budget, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and that the budget is aligned with company goals.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in supply chain management and operations.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
