Job Title: Software Systems Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Architect to join our team at Cancom Security Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing computer-based systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document user requirements to ensure that systems meet client needs
  • Coordinate the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems
  • Define system functionality and develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify solutions
  • Develop process and network models to optimize architecture and develop software solutions by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
  • Evaluate the performance and reliability of system designs and execute full lifecycle software development
  • Plan every step of the integration of a computer-based system and prepare plans to maintain software
  • Research technical information to design, develop, and test computer-based systems and upgrade and maintain software
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support and conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in software development and system architecture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with multimedia software, communication software, and MS Office
