Johnson Electric is seeking an AI Engineering Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative Generative AI solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement AI solutions that solve business problems and deliver significant business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement generative AI solutions.
- Develop AI tools to optimize internal processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization of AI models and tools.
- Assist in the integration of AI solutions with existing systems and platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies, evaluating their potential applications to improve our AI engineering processes.
- Communicate and lead effectively with multi-functional teams and partners.
- Work in compliance with Johnson Electric Canada Quality and EHS Policies and Procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with leading GenAI/ML Solution Pods for production-ready AI applications.
- Experience with scaled-up release management for AI applications.
- Expert knowledge in full stack Azure development, including experience with Azure cloud platforms in the context of GenAI solution development and deployment.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, or C++.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-motivation and a proactive approach to tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with specific software, tools, or methodologies related to AI and machine learning.
