Job Description

At Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Test to join our Technology Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and manage Azure Dev test environments and other testing environments.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize test automation processes and tools.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scripts and automated testing solutions for Azure-based applications and services.
  • Collaborate with developers to promote testing best practices and drive test automation adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure test coverage.
  • Complete application development projects of higher complexity, including the programs to be coded, for implementation into production.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience testing, programming, developing, and implementing business applications.
  • An experience in designing and implementing test automation for Azure-based applications.
  • An expertise with business ecosystems, cloud-based systems (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • A familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A graduate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Technical certifications in application architecture, cloud development, and administration.
