About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at G & B Advantage Construction Ltd. as a key member of our estimating department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Cost Management
    • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
    • Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements, including blueprints, drawings, and specifications
    • Develop and maintain accurate cost monitoring and reporting systems
  • Project Coordination
    • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure accurate estimates and cost control
    • Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
    • Project cash flow and financing requirements
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
    • Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and site teams to ensure seamless project execution
Work Environment

This is a permanent, on-the-road position, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management or engineering
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
