We are looking for a dedicated Financial Advisor to enhance our services at Envision Financial.
The Financial Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer support to both existing and prospective members by providing a comprehensive suite of deposit and investment options, along with intricate lending solutions. This position is responsible for assessing the financial needs of members based on their life stages and offering tailored solutions or referring them to specialized advisors when necessary. The advisor will manage a diverse portfolio of members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relations: Cultivates strong connections with current and prospective members; evaluates member life stages and delivers financial guidance or refers to the appropriate advisor.
- Transaction Management: Executes a wide array of complex member transactions, including personal loans, retail mortgages, RRSP loans, and investment products (typically for amounts under $100K); facilitates the opening of personal or business accounts, debit/credit cards, lines of credit, and associated insurance products.
- Branch Objectives: Contributes to the accomplishment of annual branch goals through proactive promotion of Envision Financial products and services, engagement in branch initiatives, and actively pursuing potential cross-sell and referral opportunities during member interactions. Meets established annual sales and referral benchmarks.
- Administrative Support: Carries out various administrative tasks, which may include managing estates, completing loan applications, conducting credit assessments, and following up with members as needed.
- Additional Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned by branch leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of a College or Technical School Diploma (2 years) in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Mutual Funds License is mandatory.
- Must successfully complete the internal certification program specific to this role within the designated timeframe.
- Professional Financial Planner (PFP) designation is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Member Advisor capacity or a similar role.
- Proven ability to identify member needs and recommend suitable products and services.
- Self-motivated individual with the capability to work independently and resolve issues using sound judgment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Competent in using computer software, including Microsoft Office and banking applications.
- Exhibits an understanding of risk management and adheres to established policies and procedures.
Compensation: Salary Range: $48,640 - $62,300. Please note that the salary range provided is intended as a guideline. The final compensation may vary based on several factors, including bonuses, incentives, and the candidate's skills and experience.
