Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Private Wealth Advisor to join our Commercial & Private Banking 1859 team. As a Private Wealth Advisor, you will act as a trusted financial specialist for our wealthy clients, providing exceptional customer service and building strong, lasting relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the wealthy clientele market in the Montreal area, collaborating with internal and external partners.
  • Provide wealth management advisory services to clients, analyzing their needs and developing integrated financial strategies.
  • Implement recommendations arising from financial planning, ensuring rigorous monitoring of portfolios and frequent contact with clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring speed, accessibility, and competence in all interactions.
  • Work in synergy with all National Bank business lines, leveraging expertise and resources to deliver exceptional results.
About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic team of around thirty colleagues, reporting to the regional vice-president GP1859. Our team is known for its dedication and expertise, and we offer a hybrid work mode that allows you to balance office time, client meetings, and remote work.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or master's degree related to the sector of activity and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Completed Securities Trading Course and Standards of Conduct Handbook.
  • Holding another professional title, such as CFA, FICVM, CPA, or Pl.Fin, is highly desirable.
  • Experience in business development with wealthy clients and/or entrepreneurs is essential.
  • Ability to develop trusting and lasting relationships is critical.
  • Excellent knowledge of investment products, taxation, retirement planning, and estate planning is required.
