Job Title: Manufacturing Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our Product Engineering team at Ross Video. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high performance and quality of our products through comprehensive testing and data research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement robust manufacturing test solutions for electronics hardware
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive coverage of test procedures
  • Design and maintain test documentation, supporting manufacturing staff, and enhancing test methodologies
  • Conduct functional, performance, and reliability tests on electronic hardware components and systems
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide actionable insights to improve product quality
  • Prepare and update comprehensive test reports, documentation, and technical summaries for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in electronics hardware testing and development
  • Knowledge of Broadcast Industry standards and implementation
  • Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Experience with electronic hardware and a solid understanding of electronic theory, especially digital components such as CPUs, FPGA, flash, etc.
  • Ability to comprehend electrical schematics and PCBA design files
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of test equipment (e.g., high-speed scopes, video/audio generators/analyzers, DVMs, etc.)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as AutoIt, TCL, or Python
  • Knowledge of data acquisition concepts such as TCP/IP, RS232, USB, and CAN
  • Ability to learn an object-oriented language and basic database interfacing (preferred)
