CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Technician to join our team. As a Senior Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare journal entries
  • Enter various transactions and accounts payable
  • Ensure accuracy of financial reports and statements
  • Prepare and submit TPS/TVQ and other government reports
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and provide financial insights
  • Support cost accounting and project management
  • Participate in month-end close and financial statement preparation
  • Assist with year-end financial statement preparation and audit
  • Manage cash flow and prepare financial reports
  • Prepare and submit various financial reports to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • DEC or certificate in accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with full cycle accounting
  • Intermediate level of Excel skills
