Position Overview: HVAC Technician

We are seeking a qualified **HVAC Technician** to become a vital part of our organization. In this role, you will be tasked with the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems across various industrial and commercial environments. Your expertise in HVAC technology will be essential in ensuring optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and initiate new HVAC systems effectively.
  • Evaluate operational issues and devise appropriate solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify electrical systems and controls.
  • Conduct mechanical inspections and perform necessary repairs.
  • Assemble and install components utilizing hand and power tools.
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping accurately.
  • Commission HVAC systems and conduct leak tests.
  • Perform regular maintenance and servicing tasks.
  • Repair and replace defective parts and components.
  • Experience with boiler startups is advantageous.
  • Collaborate within a team environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of an Interprovincial Refrigeration Journeyperson ticket.
  • Demonstrated experience in servicing and troubleshooting HVAC systems.
  • Familiarity with contemporary construction practices.
  • Valid Class Driver's License with insurability.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Experience in Plumbing, Sheet Metal, or Fuel Oil Technician roles is a plus.
