Senior Commercial Technology Attorney

Lrostaffing is seeking a highly skilled commercial lawyer with a strong background in technology law to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience working in a law firm or in-house setting, with a proven track record of advising on technology contracting and the commercialization of intellectual property law and technology products.
Key Responsibilities:- Drafting and Negotiation of Agreements: Our ideal candidate will have experience drafting and negotiating a variety of standard agreements, including software license agreements (distributed and SaaS model), in-bound and out-bound intellectual property licenses, and other commercial contracts.
- Technology and Intellectual Property Support: The successful candidate will provide technology and intellectual property support for M&A transactions, including conducting due diligence and review of representations and warranties in respect to technology and intellectual property matters.
- Compliance and Advisory Services: Our ideal candidate will provide advice on privacy and other compliance-related matters, ensuring that our clients' technology and intellectual property interests are protected.
- Experience: A minimum of three years' experience working as a commercial or technology lawyer in a law firm or in-house setting.
- Professional Membership: Be an active member of a Law Society in a province in Canada.
- Communication Skills: Excellent writing skills and the ability to convey complex matters in a simple manner.
