Job Title: Senior Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Toronto West. As a key member of our Design & Engineering teams, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and sustainable transportation solutions that transform the world around us.

Our team partners with clients across the globe to design thriving and connected cities and communities that enable opportunity for all and keep the world moving. Climate change, urbanization, and digitization trends require today's mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world's growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement transportation plans and designs that meet client needs and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Technology with a focus on Transportation
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering, with a strong background in road design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and CIVIL3D, with experience in municipal geometric design standards and GIS
