About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at The 6ix Creations- a Multimedia Group Inc. This is a permanent, full-time position with 35 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and calculate cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Develop and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports to support business decisions.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Technical Requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting.
  • Experience with database software and MS Access.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Familiarity with MS Windows and MS Office.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
Language and Work Environment

The work language is English, and the work term is permanent. The work environment is a dynamic and creative multimedia group.
