You will assist non-financial managers in cultivating budget awareness and ownership of the financial implications of their decisions. You will drive excellence in all finance-related aspects: budgeting, financial controls, and reporting. You will develop and implement best practice processes and principles by reviewing external trends and internal governance guidelines. You will collaborate with supervisors to enhance process optimization and foster a customer-centric culture. You will lead and contribute to finance projects across the organization as required. You will engage with all departments to effectively integrate the Company values. You will represent the organization at internal and external events, conferences, and meetings when appropriate. You will maintain frequent communication with colleagues to enhance understanding and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
  3. Respect: You recognize that the effective execution of our strategic initiatives is crucial for the future success of the organization and maintain a 'transformational' mindset at all times. You will not settle for 'average' outcomes.
  4. Integrity: You will ensure the integrity and appropriateness of all financial deliverables. You will guarantee compliance with local, provincial, and federal tax reporting and filing requirements. You will uphold Group internal controls through a documented system of accounting policies, procedures, and delegation of authority. You will serve as the primary liaison with both internal and external auditors, driving performance improvements where necessary.
