Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to support clients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote health and wellness
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Completion of Manitoba Nephrology Nursing Program
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
