Bakery Assistant Job Description

Cortes Natural Food Co-op is seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough and batters for baking
  • Operate bakery equipment, including mixers and ovens
  • Prepare and package baked goods for sale
  • Maintain a clean and organized bakery environment
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
