We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) at Qualicare, Kamloops. As a PSW, you will work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator to provide various personal care services to our clients, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany clients on outings and provide companionship
  • Assist with shopping and errands
  • Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Transport clients safely and assist with ambulation
  • Document client care and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent
  • Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
  • Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  • Ability to travel around the location territory
  • Access to internet and mobile phone
