Job Title: Maintenance Worker, Building

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at Wales Home. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep of our buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, painting, and drywall repair
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
  • Physically demanding work environment
