Flexographic Press Operator

LABEL PLUS GRAPHIC INC. is seeking a meticulous and dependable Flexographic Press Operator to enhance our production team. In this role, you will be tasked with guiding the press team on product requirements, installing plates or cylinders, organizing production timelines, and overseeing press operations to ensure quality standards are met. The successful candidate will possess experience in managing printing presses and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.

Job Requirements:
  • Completion of secondary (high) school education
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to the press team regarding product specifications
  • Install plates or cylinders and perform necessary adjustments
  • Organize and prepare production schedules
  • Examine job orders to ascertain production timelines, color sequences, and required quantities
  • Fill ink reservoirs and manage color and viscosity levels
  • Set up the press and operate at a reduced speed to verify sample quality
  • Lead the press team in setting up, operating, and shutting down the press
