Immediate Opening: Development Miner - Bolter - Lateral (Sill) Development

We are seeking a results-oriented Development Miner to join our team at Dumas. As a key member of our development crew, you will play a critical role in achieving safe and successful results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist a development crew to achieve safe and successful results
  • Assist to cycle a full round according to the mining plan
  • Safely run jackleg and stoper with ease
  • Construct and maintain underground installations as face advances

Requirements:

  • Outstanding safety record
  • Ontario Basic Underground Hard Rock Mining Specialty Modules – Soft Rock experience not accepted
  • Minimum of 3 years experience operating jackleg and stoper in Sill Development headings
