About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at pt Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' needs and goals.
  • Provide education and training to clients on topics such as safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral strategies, and functional tolerance activities.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our clients.
  • Document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Participate in case conferences and case management to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements:

  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Previous experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
  • Previous experience supporting auto insurance, long term disability, and WSIB referrals is an asset.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
