About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic care to individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations across the life span.
  • Utilize the nursing process, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to provide clinical leadership in complex or unpredictable patient/client care settings.
  • Adhere to the NSCN Standards for Nursing Practice and the Code of Ethics, and be responsible and accountable for your own practice consistent with relevant legislation, professional, and ethical standards.
About You

We want to hear from you if you meet the following:

  • You are a nurse with education outside of Canada.
  • You are licensed as a Registered Nurse with NSCN or a new nurse to Nova Scotia with a temporary license that expires in 4 months or when NCLEX has been successfully completed.
  • You are able to provide or demonstrate proof of English language proficiency.
Hours and Locations

Commitment to permanent full-time work is required. Shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary and Incentives

We offer a competitive salary range of $39.76 - $49.01 hourly, with the potential to earn $50.73 hourly with 25 years' experience. Successful candidates may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
