About the Role

The University Health Network is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Partner to join our team. As a critical member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist direct patient caregivers with various tasks related to the maintenance of the clinic, including cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing instruments.
  • Set up clinic areas and ensure they are well-organized and equipped for patient care.
  • Transport medical records, X-rays, and other essential documents.
  • Provide support to patients with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Requirements

  • Completion of a secondary school diploma program.
  • Experience in housekeeping, portering, or unit aide roles.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous hospital experience, preferably in a teaching hospital environment.
