About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at Mavara Indian Bistro Inc. as a key member of our food and beverage services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings.
  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, providing recommendations and answering questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to perform the demands of the role, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
