Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Excavator Operator to operate heavy equipment in various locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, maps, and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation, operating heavy equipment, and completing onboard and other logs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation
  • Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, and ensure it is clean and well-maintained
  • Read blueprints, maps, and specifications to determine work requirements and complete tasks efficiently
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and prepare accident reports as needed
  • Secure special attachments to equipment and operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in excavation or a related field
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment

The Excavator Operator will work in various locations, with physically demanding tasks and overtime required. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
