Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Comox Valley. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you will work with a diverse group of clients, providing functional assessments, job site visits, and developing graduated activity and return-to-work plans. You will also liaise with clients' healthcare teams and payer representatives to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional assessments and develop individualized plans to help clients achieve their goals
  • Provide job site visits and develop graduated activity and return-to-work plans
  • Liaise with clients' healthcare teams and payer representatives to ensure seamless care
  • Develop knowledge of funder contracts and community resources to facilitate clients' access to appropriate health services
  • Implement a variety of therapeutic strategies to facilitate clients' success
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current membership in the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
