About the Role

The Medical Radiation Technologist will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to capture detailed images of patients' conditions, which will aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to capture high-quality images of patients' conditions
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and respectful environment
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance diagnostic imaging services
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized training program in Medical Radiation Technology
  • Certified and registered with the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society (CMBES) and the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS)
  • Current CPR certification
