Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to join our team and lead projects that align with our business objectives. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to tailor methodologies to meet project and stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects of varying size and complexity, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Develop project plans that incorporate elements from both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, adapting project management methodologies to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Coordinate and perform quality assurance testing and post-implementation reviews to assess success levels and gather feedback.
  • Apply best practices and recommend process improvements in accordance with established business objectives.
  • Balance the need for flexibility (Agile) with structured planning (Waterfall).
  • Highlight and facilitate actions to uncover and resolve root causes of issues.
  • Utilize critical thinking and analysis to ensure necessary business requirements are in place for timely project completion.
  • Partner with internal departments to gain understanding of processes, policies, procedures, and requirements for each project.
  • Research the needs and requirements for each project with internal members and coordinate with third-party vendors.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field.
  • Or more years of related experience.
  • Thorough understanding of varying project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation is preferred.
  • Prior financial services experience is an asset.
