At the University Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Strategic Projects, Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine to join our team. This is a leadership position within our Diagnostic Programs, and the successful candidate will be responsible for fostering innovation, partnership development, and continuous improvement in imaging and diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for Medical Imaging and Laboratory Medicine Program projects, ensuring alignment with UHN's goals and strategies.
  • Monitor progress towards achieving goals and take action as required.
  • Prepare business plan documents in support of short- and long-term planning initiatives.
  • Indirectly manage project teams to ensure achievement of objectives and deliverables on time, in scope, and on budget.
  • Effectively manage resources to achieve objectives within budget.
  • Represent the unit/department internally on UHN committees and externally at conferences, workshops, etc.
  • Regularly report progress to key stakeholders and JDMI and LMP senior management.
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree in Business or Health Administration (MBA), or recognized equivalent.
  • At minimum 8 years progressive experience in a strategic planning focused role.
  • Expertise in strategic planning, project management, change management, business development, and quality and process improvement, at the executive-level.
  • Excellent analytical, financial, and reporting skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong skills in data manipulation, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Experience in hospital data and reporting metrics.
  • Experience in both project and change management leading complex projects/priorities and delivering results that meet identified expectations and timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels, including senior-level management and external stakeholders.
