Healthcare Reimbursement Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Reimbursement Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a Reimbursement Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients have access to the medications they need.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients;
- Work closely with insurance companies, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to maximize reimbursement solutions;
- Coordinate documents, submissions, and related paperwork to insurance companies, public, and federal funding programs;
- Implement financial means tests to maximize patient prescription drug coverage;
- Coordinate pharmacy processes required once funding has been obtained;
- Develop in-depth knowledge of public, private, and federal funding mechanisms;
- Report adverse events to assigned units and departments;
- Perform other duties and tasks as required.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an office setting;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel);
- Professional, courteous, and efficient telephone manner;
- Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask to meet competing work deadlines;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Attention to detail;
- Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset;
- Bilingualism, French/English is an asset.
- Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry;
- Working knowledge of automated warehouse operating systems;
- Strong business and financial acumen;
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Effective organizational skills, attention to detail;
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office Programs.
