About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at KCLC Properties, ULC. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Industrial Equipment: Safely operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse from our properties.
  • Perform Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Coordinate Repairs: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of our properties.
  • Perform Safety Checks: Conduct regular safety and security checks to ensure the well-being of our staff and guests.
  • Move Heavy Equipment: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Work with Minimal Supervision: Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Physical Capabilities: Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
Requirements
  • Education: Will train.
  • Work Experience: Permanent position.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
