Job Title: Clinical Education Supervisor

At Homewood Health, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our patients. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Education Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary

The Clinical Education Supervisor will be responsible for providing education and training to nurses and other disciplines through various modalities, including classroom, tutorials, consults, and e-learning. This role will also involve collaborating with colleagues and the Clinical Management Team to develop, implement, and evaluate education programs to enhance professional service for staff, clients, families, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide education and training to nurses and other disciplines through various modalities
  • Collaborate with colleagues and the Clinical Management Team to develop, implement, and evaluate education programs
  • Develop and present educational programs to internal and external customers
  • Coach and mentor clinical staff in the delivery of evidence-based practices
  • Supervise Clinical Coordinators and direct and evaluate staff performance
  • Facilitate staff engagement on relevant clinical issues
  • Maintain and enhance expertise through participation in workshops, seminars, and courses
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant Social Sciences, Nursing, or other health-related discipline
  • Valid registration with a relevant college/governing body in Ontario
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in mental health and addiction
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a formal or informal leadership role
  • Excellent coaching, mentoring, presentation, and leadership skills
