We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Janasi Industries Ltd. as a Process Control Specialist.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical and electronic systems and equipment for our manufacturing plant. This includes supervising technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts, and other engineers, as well as preparing material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance
  • Commission systems and components
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years or more of experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
