Job Title: Baker, PâtissierWe are seeking a skilled Baker, Pâtissier to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare dough and batters for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection.
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality products.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to meet our high standards.
- Draw up production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Train staff on new recipes and techniques.
- Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods to maximize revenue.
- 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Permanent position with 30 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
Our bakery is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential. You will be working in a standing position for extended periods, and you must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
