About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Ventilation Engineer to join our team at BBE Group Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient ventilation of our mines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and Implement Ventilation Systems: Design and implement ventilation systems that meet the needs of our mines, ensuring optimal airflow and minimizing the risk of accidents.
  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs: Develop and implement mine safety programs that meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct Site Visits and Inspections: Conduct regular site visits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare Reports and Presentations: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on ventilation system performance, safety incidents, and other relevant topics.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure seamless integration of ventilation systems and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mining engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in mine ventilation engineering or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of ventilation systems, mine safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
