About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cellular Network Technician to join our team at NANAK WIRELESS DISTRIBUTION INC. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware.
  • Equipment Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace defective telephone equipment, and analyze test results to adjust, change, or repair switching systems, networks, associated equipment, and software.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Determine the nature, cause, and location of trouble, and initiate the dispatch of appropriate repair personnel.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment, and install cable modems and software to enable Internet access.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, organized, reliability, team player, accurate.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 35 hours per week.
