About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Jll's Services Ltd. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Estimation and Reporting: Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, and complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Training and Development: Coach and instruct apprentices, and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification, Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification, and other relevant certifications.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the automotive service industry.
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Language: English.

  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
