About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Analyst to join our team in Fredericton or Saint John, New Brunswick. As a GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams, contributing to the development and management of technical systems, and providing GIS technical support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement GIS solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and management of technical systems, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide GIS technical support, including data management, spatial analysis, and visualizations.
  • Design and develop innovative web tool architectures and designs.
  • Apply programming and coding skills to enhance project and data resolution management.
  • Develop and maintain coding procedures and policies specific to GIS Web Applications.
  • Test, review, analyze, optimize, and monitor Web GIS Portal systems/tools.
Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Geography, Surveying, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Completion of a one-year technical program in GIS.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience in the consulting industry or technical program equivalent.
  • Demonstrated abilities in ESRI GIS software (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).
  • Report writing, organization, and interpersonal skills.
