RUTHERKIM CLEANING CORP. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning and Maintenance Staff to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our office buildings, commercial spaces, and other facilities.
Responsibilities:- Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures, and empty trash containers.
- Lost and Found: Handle lost and found items and address customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Transportation and Travel: Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license are required. Employer-provided vehicle will be used for work-related tasks.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, and attention to detail. Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
- Weight Handling: Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) is required.
- Tools and Equipment: Provided tools, uniform, and equipment will be used for the job.
- Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, initiative, organization skills, reliability, team player, and honesty are essential qualities for this role.
- Screening Questions: Availability for shift work and legally able to work in Canada are required.
- Work Term: Permanent position with 35-40 hours per week.
- Work Language: English is the primary language used in this role.
