Plastering Professional

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team at JATT Drywall & Painting Ltd. as a key member of our finishing crew.

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
• Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a durable and attractive surface.
• Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure a strong bond between the drywall and plaster.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and prevent damage.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
• Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency to ensure a strong and durable finish.
• Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry to prevent any imperfections.
• Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
• Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied to provide additional support.
• Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

• Drywall taping and patching experience is essential for this role.

• A reliable vehicle is required for this position, as you will be traveling to different job sites.

• This is a permanent, on-the-road position with a 40-48 hour workweek.
• The work language is English.
