The Beautiful Daycare Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Childcare Support Specialist to assist in fostering the growth and development of young children in our care.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
- Site: Child care centre located in an urban area.
- Conditions: Non-smoking environment.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding.
- Support early childhood educators in implementing programs that enhance children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Engage children through storytelling, singing, and crafting activities.
- Prepare snacks and organize the environment for meal and rest periods.
- Submit observations regarding children's progress to educators or supervisors.
- Participate in discussions about children's development during staff meetings.
- Plan and organize activities for school-age children in after-school programs.
- Must possess a Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification.
- Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Capability to bend, crouch, and kneel as necessary.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Flexible and reliable team player.
- Strong values and ethics in childcare.
This is a permanent position requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week, with English as the primary language of communication.
