We are seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in architectural technology to contribute to our innovative projects. As a Lead Architectural Technologist, you will play a crucial role in guiding the project team through various phases, ensuring that all documentation meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with your project team to fulfill documentation requirements across all project stages.
  • Take the lead in developing, preparing, and reviewing Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications.
  • Oversee the creation and review of Contract Documents (CD) and specifications.
  • Ensure effective coordination of consultant documentation in alignment with project criteria, client programs, drawings, and specifications; conduct thorough reviews of consultant work.
  • Direct the preparation of tender documents.
  • Participate in coordination and site meetings.
  • Manage drawing production to meet the needs of required tender packages.
  • Research and evaluate construction materials.
  • Conduct code and bylaw analysis.
  • Implement Quality Control procedures.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate technologists.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of experience in architectural technology.
  • An Architectural Technology Diploma or an Architecture Degree.
  • Proven experience on projects across various sectors, including Industrial, Commercial, and Senior Living.
  • Strong proficiency in construction documentation, particularly envelope detailing.
  • Expertise in Revit software.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current building systems, materials, and building codes.
  • A commitment to precision and quality.
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach to teamwork.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior staff.
