About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Caregiver to join our team at Navdeep Singh Brar. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to infants and children in a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Development: Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • Education and Support: Help children with homework and support their educational development.
  • Household Management: Shop for food and household supplies, and maintain a clean and organized living space.
  • Transportation and Errands: Take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • Experience and Adaptability: Experience working with children is an asset, and the ability to adapt to changing situations is essential.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, and support their social and labour market integration.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
