- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen items, including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Organize and store dishes appropriately.
- Manually wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items.
- Maintain records of food usage.
- Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items.
- Utilize manual and electrical appliances for food preparation tasks.
- Sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning supplies safely.
- Receive and organize supplies in storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
- Dispose of kitchen waste properly.
- Maintain kitchen tools, including sharpening knives.
- Perform floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing.
- Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting.
- Familiarity with deep fryers and grills is preferred.
- Fast-paced and physically demanding.
- Ability to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks.
- Standing for extended periods and working under pressure is required.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
