Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Érablière du Pont d'Or Limitée. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting software and be proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP diploma in accounting or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Strong understanding of accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
