Job Title: Heavy-Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Heavy-Duty Cleaner at HITCH 'N GO. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our office buildings, warehouses, and remote locations are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to prevent odors and pests.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a pleasant outdoor environment.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure independence and efficiency.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safe access.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to prevent clutter and odors.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and shiny environment.

  • Handling heavy loads to ensure safe and efficient movement.

  • Bending, crouching, kneeling to ensure thorough cleaning.

  • Ability to work independently to ensure efficiency and productivity.

  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) to ensure safe and efficient movement.
