Wealth Management Associate Program

Scotiabank is seeking ambitious and entrepreneurial-minded individuals to join our Wealth Management Associate Program. This 5-month salaried program is designed to develop sales and relationship-focused skills, with a focus on building a foundation for success in a Wealth Advisory role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop sales and entrepreneurial skills through comprehensive training and hands-on experience
  • Gain exposure to Scotiabank's Wealth Advisory businesses and Total Wealth Planning approach
  • Work with wealth teams to gain practical experience and support to help prepare for licensing requirements
  • Participate in ongoing support and development through various touch points with Program Lead and Total Wealth Planning leaders
Requirements:
  • Completing an undergrad or master's degree by June 2025, or equivalent experience
  • Strong aspiration to build a career in a Wealth Advisory role
  • Curious, competitive, and critical thinking skills with ability to adapt to change
  • Sales and relationship-focused mindset with exceptional relationship management skills
  • Ability to influence, persuade, and build consensus, with effective communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to constantly changing environments
  • Strong self-awareness and ability to seek feedback
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, with ability to work independently
  • Problem-solving skills with maturity and adaptability
  • Ambitious, entrepreneurial-minded, and willing to grow career
  • Resilient, positive, and high level of energy and perseverance
  • Flexible and willing to relocate to another area of Canada
