Pediatric Registered Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team at William Osler Health System. As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the inter-professional healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical and emotional evaluations, to identify and address patient needs.
  • Develop and implement education plans to promote patient and family health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Recent experience in pediatric nursing, with a minimum of two years of experience.
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate.
  • Completion of Registered Nurses Association of Ontario breastfeeding e-learning online course.
  • Paediatric Assessment course preferred.
