We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Vernon Sausage Company LTD. Key Responsibilities- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Production Planning and Control: Plan and coordinate production activities to meet production schedules and deadlines, and ensure that production processes are running efficiently and effectively.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve production goals and objectives.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that materials and supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that the production area is safe and healthy for employees and that all health and safety procedures are followed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a production or supervisory role
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
The Production Supervisor will work in a fast-paced production environment, with a focus on meeting production schedules and deadlines. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have strong leadership and communication skills.
